Some may be familiar with my blog last year, I had to cut the challenge short due to a change of circumstances but was proud of my profit sitting just shy of €5,000 from €500 at the start of July.
Following a conversation on Boxing Day in my old local I was reminded of a successful betting syndicate I ran about 5 years ago.
It was simple, a group of friends put a sum of money in (forget what it was now), I'd place the bets on Betfair & we divided the profits up at the end of the year.
For 2009 starting on the 17th of January to coincide with the Champion Hurdle trial at Haydock I shall be starting another syndicate.
The details are simple, €100 per person in, I place bets on horse racing on Betfair & I document the bets with a weekly profit & loss tally on this blog.
The last syndicate recorded a decent return at the time most people need it most.
